About me

Mega-dork? Yes. Super Bored? Yeah, it happens. Too much free time on my hands as of late? Ohhhh absolutely. Crazy? Enough to be interesting.

Creative? I'd like to think so. Artistic? More than most. Introvert? Yes. Boring? I would hope not.

Basically all you need to know is that I am your not-so-normal-but-not-completely-insane college bound young adult with a mind to do great things, just not necessarily the motivation or resources to do so (YET!). I have traveled to 7 countries within the past two years (Germany (2x), Austria (2x), Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Canada, France). I've won a poetry award, a photography award, I've been published, and I have a job. I write for myself, take pictures for my own satisfaction, and draw for my own enjoyment. I sing in the car at the top of my lungs, and dance at stop lights. I listen to nearly every kind of music. I am very picky about my books. I love Star Trek. Harry Potter? Doesn't really matter in my book, but I don't hate it (I just don't love it). I've learned and read about political philosophy, taken a year long course on American Government and Politics, and competed in political-info-opinion-history competitions...yet I don't think I'll ever bring myself to understand any of it. I'm religious but not spiritual. I'm arachnophobic. I can't do cartwheels. If I think of any other random facts about myself I'll add them later...

About my collections

I'm not exactly sure what this means...Um...my home is overflowing with books, of all genres, for all ages, some liked, some disliked, most read, a few unread, big books, small books, picture books, bricks of words, you name it...my movie collection is growing, but rather weak, unless of course you happen to be a child with a VCR player who loves Disney, or perhaps a DVD player owner who loves historical pieces and old classics...my game collection? Well, limited. Very much so. Brain-Trainers and one Sims, and very old, but much loved Nintendogs, and soon two Pokemon games from my best friend, (and if old CD-ROM computer games count, one Sherlock Holmes Mystery of the Mummy and the wonderful Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego)...I hope that satisfies anyone who's curious.
